Hope's Champion Task Force
Wendeen Eolis' experience in city and state government positioned her well to assist in the aftermath of 9.11. As a senior level crisis consultant during the disaster operations recovery in New York she provided input for the development of the new Homeland Security Department.
She saw the need for a bridge between homeland initiatives and projects to elevate cooperation with foreign governments in the advancing war on terrorism. Hope's Champion Task Force was the outgrowth of brainstorming sessions as to the critical services required in the aftermath of a disaster---especially as related to legal repercussions from such events.
In addition to serving as the leader and civilian commander of HCTF, Eolis' advice has also been sought by federal and international agencies, and senior members of the executive branches of foreign governments.
