Academic Background

Wendeen is a graduate of NYU New York University College of Arts and Sciences (1967), with honors. Her strongest suit was argumentation and debate. She was a recipient of NYU's Chester H. Lane prize in public speaking.  Wendeen was graduated with a double major in philosophy and psychology. Her graduate studies in personnel management resulted in a double certification in New York certified employment consultant and certified professional coach.  She is a long-time supporter of NYU and served as a member of the Dean's Advisory Council of NYU Law School.
